BREAKING NEWS. House of Representatives Appropriations Committee pass bill that includes $1 million for Tuscarora Township sewer plant expansion. 

Congressman Jack Bergman (MI-01) submitted the project earlier this year.  Supervisor Bob Kramer and Trustee Janet Vance drafted and submitted the project request on behalf of the township Board of Trustees as a part of the Phase 3 sewer expansion that includes both sides of the Indian River north of S. Straits Highway.  This is the second time Representatives Bergman has sponsored a township request. The bill must still be approved by the full House and then the Senate.
